The League is convening a forum of local municipal and school officials to discuss education funding in Rhode Island. Participating in the forum are city and town CEOs, finance directors, council members, school superintendents, school business officials, and school committee members, as well as other invited guests.
Topics on the agenda include the education funding formula, the UCOA dashboard, discussion panels of school and municipal leaders, and a presentation on findings from a survey of stakeholders.
The education funding forum will be held Friday, November 15th, 8:30 am - 12:30 pm at the Crowne Plaza at the Crossings in Warwick. Those unable to attend are still encouraged to participate in the survey.
