The Rhode Island League of Cities and Towns is proud to host a partial screening of MULTIPLE CHOICE, followed by an engaging, interactive fireside chat with the film’s Executive Producer, Ted Dintersmith. MULTIPLE CHOICE examines the complex history of American education and how a focus on high-stakes testing and a “college for all” mindset has overshadowed meaningful career preparation. The film invites viewers into the Innovation Center, where students discover pathways that align with their interests, explore diverse careers, and develop both traditional and emerging skills essential for the future economy. Set against the backdrop of political uncertainty and rapid technological change, MULTIPLE CHOICE presents an inspiring vision of what education can be when students are placed at the center of their learning. It showcases a community committed to ensuring that every young person can build a purposeful, fulfilling future—and that prosperity is a shared goal. This special event offers municipal leaders, educators, and community stakeholders a unique opportunity to engage directly with Ted Dintersmith on the themes of the film, the future of workforce development, and how communities can better support student success.
